In a compact space, using space efficiently to provide an ease of fluid use of living space is paramount. Using our in-house expertise in furniture design we were able to devise a comprehensive redesign of internal space in which colours and textures of in-built fixtures would be referential to one another. We were keen to create a contemporary and playful approach to the domestic space using bold terrazzo with more grounded timber textures. However, we are also keen to make what has once been a hard-to-use space with little flow and orientation to views, into something that felt more natural and functional.
