Bringing this building into the contemporary age, a new facade serves the interior space as well as the street face.
As the building had been underused for a number of years, the client now wanted a building which was able to house new tenants and accommodate them with an up-to-date office appropriate to modern ways of working.
Internally, renovations aimed to revitalise the space with contemporary office space, meeting booths and an entrance atrium.
Taking cues from the historic architecture adjacent, we aimed to maintain a refined approach to the exterior, maximising access to natural light. With energy efficiency and materials in mind, we were able to maintain 65% of the existing facade while also being able to give the building a totally new lease of life.
