Located on the banks of the Thames, Rivercourt is a sympathetic take on city living, especially London living. Given its unique location, the layout, design and orientation of the architecture are intended to accentuate the panoramic view of the city.
Using a refined pallet and traditional materials, we were keen to provide an understated but tasteful revision of the interior of the house.
Through subtle lighting, materiality and acoustic instalments the architecture creates a distinction between moments of serenity and exposure to the majestic but intense energy of central London - allowing for a changing between these two modes.
